About The Position

Propeller is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to help transform how worksites globally utilize drone data. This role is crucial within a fast-growing, high-tech startup, focusing on solving real-world problems. The Senior SDR will collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to understand lead behavior, identify customer needs, articulate Propeller's value proposition, and build a robust sales pipeline through prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities. You will work directly with Account Executives, handing off qualified leads and recommending strategies for closing deals. In addition to pipeline generation, you will serve as a peer mentor to SDR 1 team members, assisting the Sales Development Manager in developing newer reps' skills and success. This position is designed as a growth opportunity, enabling experienced outbound professionals to advance into Account Executive, Customer Success Manager, or Sales Engineer roles, driving frontline revenue and long-term customer impact, particularly in the Americas region.

Requirements

  • Proven SaaS Sales experience, either as an SDR/BDR or related.
  • Experience with cold calling at volume (50+ cold calls per day).
  • A great communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Curiosity-driven, you focus on customer problems and workflows before pitching.
  • Goal-driven with proven experience in hitting KPIs and/or quotas.
  • People person and a natural mentor.
  • Understand that every customer is a person and has equally important problems, and your message is always clear, friendly, and meaningful.
  • Genuinely enjoy helping others grow and are eager to share your winning strategies and insights with your peers.
  • Experienced sales development professional ready to take the next step in your sales career.
  • Proven SaaS (maybe AI as well) SDR/BDR or related outbound experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in GIS or Construction-based technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs, articulate Propeller's value proposition, and develop a robust sales pipeline by prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • Work directly with Account Executives to target new leads based on discovered challenges.
  • Hand over qualified leads to Account Executives and recommend strategies for closing deals.
  • Act as a peer mentor and leader to SDR 1 team members, collaborating with the Sales Development Manager to help newer reps sharpen their skills, overcome hurdles, and find success.
  • Critically reflect on sales processes with a view to making improvements.
  • Look for ways to automate or make improvements that will benefit you and your wider team.
  • Lead by example and achieve sales quotas.
