About The Position
The Senior Sales Associate consistently achieves individual sales goals in support of store sales and profit objectives, provides superior customer service, and takes on additional senior-level responsibilities within the store. The role promotes Music & Arts lessons, builds customer relationships, and develops business through community networking. It also participates in store operations and maintains store security. Music & Arts is part of the Guitar Center enterprise and operates retail stores, educational representatives, and affiliate locations. The company aims to encourage creativity and music, put customers first, and engage with respect, integrity, and passion.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant work experience.
- Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
- Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
- Develop business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
- Develop customer relationships and deliver compelling sales presentations based on sales training.
- Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
- Promote customer loyalty.
- Participate in all areas of store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
- Maintain store security, including perimeter door keys, register keys, and personal alarm code.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
