About The Position
The Senior Sales Associate consistently achieves individual sales goals in support of the store’s sales and profit objectives, provides superior customer service, and takes on other senior-level responsibilities within the store. The role generates sales, promotes Music & Arts’ lesson program, develops customer relationships, and creates business through community networking. It also participates in store operations, including merchandising, displays, maintenance, and security. The listed pay rate is $15.16–$16.16 per hour plus commission, depending on location, background, and experience. Music & Arts offers eligible musician employees gig leave to take time off to perform and return to their job after a tour. Other stated benefits include a 401(k) with company match and an employee discount program. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other factors. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant work experience.
- Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
- Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
- Create business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
- Develop customer relationships and provide compelling sales presentations based on sales training.
- Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
- Promote customer loyalty.
- Participate in store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
- Maintain store security, including perimeter door keys, register keys, and a personal alarm code.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
