Senior Roku Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Roku Engineer with extensive experience in streaming playback concepts, including HLS, DASH, adaptive bitrate behavior, and DRM. The ideal candidate will be proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript for developing internal tooling and automation, and have experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation. A strong understanding of Roku platform integrations, such as deep linking, search feeds, continue watching, Roku Pay, or advertising frameworks, is essential. The role also requires the ability to debug production issues using Roku developer tools, profiling tools, or telemetry dashboards, and a background with other living-room or connected TV platforms is a plus.
Requirements
- Experience with streaming playback concepts, HLS, DASH, adaptive bitrate behavior, and DRM
