The Quality Improvement Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Director of Quality Management to develop and implement a comprehensive quality management program within Correctional Health Services. The position will require the RN to evaluate and monitor clinical processes, to determine strategies to improve the quality and safety of care and to work collaboratively with clinical nursing leadership in the implementation of quality and patient safety initiatives. The position requires a strong clinical background, familiarity with psychiatric and correctional nursing processes and proficiency in the use of an electronic health record. An offer of employment will be contingent on the applicant successfully passing a DHHS background check and pre-employment drug testing, and a Utah Department of Corrections (UDC) background screening.
