About the position
As the Sr. Risk Analyst, you will be part of a team of fraud experts dedicated to fighting fraud and supporting the success of customers. Your role will involve proactive risk analysis, identifying fraud trends, and implementing new fraud prevention strategies. Additionally, you will support Risk Operations, assist the sales team in fraud and tool insights conversations, and gather and present data for reporting purposes. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the ecommerce payments landscape in LATAM are required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform proactive risk analysis on large datasets to identify risk factors and trends of potentially fraudulent activity
- Identify fraud trends, document findings, and communicate them to relevant stakeholders
- Lead in the development and implementation of new fraud prevention strategies
- Support Risk Operations with process and tool improvements
- Assist the sales team by leading fraud and tool insights conversations with potential merchants
- Gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports, presentations, and dashboards for metrics and trend reporting
- Assist in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as requested
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external business partners
- Bilingual with business proficiency in English
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, payments, or risk-related industry
- Strong understanding of the ecommerce payments landscape in LATAM
- Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize data for targeting improvements and problem-solving.
