About The Position

Seeking a Senior Right-of-Way Agent with 10+ years of right-of-way, land acquisition, permitting, and pipeline project experience to support new construction and operational projects throughout Northeast Texas. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, landowners, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to support pipeline construction, operations, and integrity-related activities. This is an onsite position supporting projects throughout Northeast Texas, including the Lufkin, Palestine, and Marshall areas. Candidates must possess an active Notary Public commission, an active TREC Right-of-Way License, a valid driver's license, and be comfortable traveling regionally 2–3 days per week. Travel is primarily day trips with minimal overnight requirements. Candidates must provide their own vehicle for business travel and will be reimbursed for mileage.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of right-of-way, land acquisition, or pipeline industry experience
  • Active Notary Public commission
  • Active Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) Right-of-Way License
  • Experience supporting pipeline construction and operational projects
  • Experience negotiating easements, permits, licenses, and real property agreements
  • Experience researching title, ownership, and easement rights
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory

Responsibilities

  • Perform land and right-of-way acquisition activities for new construction and operational projects
  • Assist with preliminary pipeline route development, project schedules, and cost estimates
  • Research title, ownership, and easement rights
  • Prepare title updates, landowner claims, and project-related reports
  • Negotiate easements, licenses, permits, and other real property agreements
  • Secure permits and approvals from private, local, state, and federal agencies
  • Investigate, negotiate, and resolve damage claims
  • Represent projects and company interests during public meetings
  • Support integrity, operations, and maintenance-related land activities
  • Manage assigned projects with minimal supervision
