About The Position

As a Senior RF Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting a development program within the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department. You will be working as a member of a team that is responsible for developing testsets to support a production program onsite under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney, Texas.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with electronics and coding
  • Experience with the use of measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
  • Experience with compact antenna ranges and measurements.
  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance prior to the start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment that will assess production testing design coverage for all levels of test from special test equipment to assembly, test, and verification.
  • Stand up an anechoic test range in the McKinney compact range area to meet the production program requirements.
  • Troubleshooting testsets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces and software.
  • Resolution of issues on production support testsets in NTX.
  • Work in a compact range environment or lab environment.
  • Analysis of test data of RF products to ensure test specifications are met.
  • Interpreting, generating, updating, releasing and applying engineering drawings, including testset drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.
  • Train and mentor early in career team members.
