Senior RF Design Engineer

RTX•Tewksbury, MA
•$86,800 - $165,200•Onsite

About The Position

RTX is seeking an electrical engineer with a strong academic background and experience in RF design theory, design, and testing, including architectures, subsystems, components, and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). The role uses working knowledge of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and analytical skills in electromagnetic and microwave theory to design and hands-on test microwave components, cards, and systems, and to provide technical support to production activities. Team leadership skills, including cost and schedule management, as well as proposal-writing and presentation experience, are desired. The position is onsite in Andover, Tewksbury, or Marlborough, Massachusetts; the location assignment will be based on business or program need. Some travel to integration sites and customer and subcontractor facilities may be required. An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before the start date, and the candidate must be able to obtain an interim clearance before the start date. U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The salary range is $86,800–$165,200 USD. Relocation assistance is available. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits and annual short- or long-term incentive compensation, subject to the applicable business unit, position level, collective-bargaining coverage, and other factors. The application window is anticipated to close approximately 40 days after the posting date, though it may be shortened or extended.
