About The Position

WDF Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Senior Revit API Developer to join our office in Mount Vernon, NY. WDF Incorporated is one of the largest specialty mechanical contractors in the New York metropolitan area, self-performing HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, and specialty general construction. Our client list includes many of the country’s leading owners and developers, construction managers and institutions. As a Senior Revit API Developer at WDF Inc., you will have the opportunity to create custom add-ins, plugins, and automation tools that improve the productivity and efficiency of our Plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical Piping, and Fire Protection drafting teams.

Requirements

• Experience developing Revit add-ins using C#/.NET and Revit API.
• Strong understanding of Revit, BIM workflows, and MEP systems.
• Ability to translate drafting and coordination challenges into efficient software tools.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Dynamo, WPF, SQL, or Python.
• Plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical Piping, Fire Protection, or MEP coordination experience.
• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Fabrication and construction workflow automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom Revit add-ins using C# and the Autodesk Revit API.
• Automate repetitive drafting and coordination tasks.
• Create tools for tagging, annotation, QA/QC, model management, and fabrication workflows.
• Integrate Revit with external databases, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and other construction software.
• Work directly with BIM managers and drafters to identify workflow improvements and develop practical solutions.
