About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior API Developer with strong expertise in PHP, Python, and Oracle Database development to design, develop, and maintain scalable integration solutions and enterprise-grade APIs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building secure, high-performance APIs, integrating with internal and third-party systems, and working within complex enterprise environments. This role requires a strong understanding of backend development, database design, system integrations, and API lifecycle management.

Requirements

7+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience developing APIs and backend services using PHP and Python.
Extensive experience working with Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL development.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services.
Strong understanding of API security standards, including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and authentication frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using PHP and Python.
Build scalable integration solutions between enterprise applications, databases, and third-party platforms.
Develop and optimize Oracle database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, packages, and functions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
Create and maintain API documentation, technical specifications, and integration guides.
Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection.
Monitor API performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure system reliability and uptime.
Optimize application and database performance through efficient coding practices and query tuning.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
Support CI/CD processes and contribute to automated testing and deployment initiatives.
Work closely with QA teams to ensure quality standards and successful production releases.
