About The Position

The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for accurately reporting volumes, values, deductions, and taxes by product. This role ensures the timely payment of all state and federal taxes and royalties. The position requires communication with other departments to stay informed of operational changes and land issues, as well as preparing account analysis and reconciliation for revenue regulatory related accounts. The Senior Revenue Accountant will also respond to royalty-related inquiries, follow established internal controls for revenue accounting, and lead special projects as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent experience
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in oil and gas regulatory reporting
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Self-starting, detailed, results oriented team player.
Strong organizational skills with significant attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, meet deadlines, and manage changes in fast paced and growth-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in W Energy and Quorum software platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Accurately report volumes, values, deductions, and taxes by product
