Senior Revenue Accountant
About The Position
Lead revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including contract review, performance obligation identification, and transaction price allocation. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities related to revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled revenue. Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses with supporting documentation. Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to revenue-related inquiries. Maintain and improve revenue policies, procedures, and internal controls. Drive process automation and scalability initiatives. Assist in NetSuite implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or SaaS experience preferred)
- Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Sage Intacct
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups) and experience supporting process improvements
- Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced business environment
- Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Nice To Haves
- NetSuite implementation experience is a plus
