About The Position

Jill Acquisition LLC. seeks a Senior Retail Systems Analyst (Quincy, MA) to serve as subject matter expert in architecting, designing, building, and maintaining Retail XStore, XCenter, Omni Selling, Store fulfillment and related software deployed in JJill Stores. Verify daily sales, inventory and other transaction file movement between POS, Sales Audit/Loss Prevention (XBR) and other enterprise and cloud systems. Lead business requirement analysis with the business partners, conduct design sessions with the cross-functional teams to implement new system enhancements or tools. Apply engineering techniques to troubleshoot and maintain XCenter configurations and XStore data loads related to Master data, Hierarchy, Tax and EComm sales. Work closely with Store Operations, Finance, Internal Audits, Data Operations, Corporate Systems and Supply Chain teams to diagnose system related issues and identify systemic process gaps. Implement systemic solutions to resolve these issues. Debug and develop new Oracle software code components in computer programming languages Java, SQL, Microsoft batch scripts. Deploy critical system/security patch release / POS Builds from Oracle onto JJill Oracle application instances and run validation exercises using computer engineering methodologies. Help in regression testing of POS code in JJill production to ensure system upgrade will not break business functions. Monitor Retail Systems health and addresses errors by utilizing diagnostics and monitoring tools. Liaison and collaborate very closely with IS cross functional teams such as Enterprise systems integration, technology Infrastructure, database administration, server administration, Merchandising systems, Enterprise data warehouse, business intelligence systems, supply chain systems, IT helpdesk for the day-to-day system-related issues. Develop processes and Interfaces to upload business data files into Oracle XStore Retail systems using system upload processes. Lead effort to perform impact analysis, design and implement systemic changes tied to new business initiatives. Administer production deployment by participating in change approval exercise and ensure the validity of deployments. Provide 24/7 on-call support for stores & backend systems in the event of a critical incident. Local telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week. 10% domestic travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 years of IT experience in retail supporting Store Operations and Field Management.
  • Experience triaging and supporting retail operations from both software and hardware perspectives.
  • Experience with Oracle retail suite including Xstore POS.
  • Experience with retail back-office applications such as Sales Audit, Loss Prevention, Order Management Systems (OMS), Tax, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Experience leading third-party vendors and offshore teams, managing deliverables, and ensuring timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Experience executing POS software & hardware rollouts, system upgrades, new store openings, remodels, relocations and store closures.
  • Experience using Oracle OMS or similar platforms (such as Manhattan, Sterling) for order orchestration, fulfillment, and inventory visibility.
  • Experience with retail data workflows including customer, item, tax, transaction, promotion, and gift card.
  • Experience with retail business processes, omnichannel operations, and order fulfillment workflows.
  • Experience applying Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management processes.
  • Experience using defect and incident management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Cherwell.
  • Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing permanent corrective actions for production issues.
  • Experience writing SQL queries, programming in PowerShell and Windows batch scripts, and Java, Jetty, and Postman.
  • Experience with secure file transfer protocols (SFTP), REST APIs, XML, and JSON.
  • Experience with Agile and hybrid Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience using Microsoft productivity tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience preparing professional communications, presentations, and documentation.
