About The Position

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with hands-on analytical expertise and a passion for retail pricing. This role will partner closely with Planning, Finance, and Merchandising to evaluate pricing performance, inform price-setting decisions, and identify opportunities to drive revenue and margin improvement. In addition, the role will support dashboard development, data exploration, and scalable analytics to enable data-driven decision-making across global retail footprint.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience in retail analytics, pricing, or business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of retail pricing concepts, including price elasticity, promotional strategy, markdown optimization, and margin drivers. Ability to translate pricing insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience supporting merchandising, buying, planning, or pricing functions in retail environments across brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels. Familiarity with POS data, inventory systems, and product lifecycle metrics.
  • Advanced SQL skills to extract, join, and transform large datasets; experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Expert-level experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau or similar tools to support pricing and retail decision-making.

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy) for data analysis and pricing-related modeling support.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze pricing performance, including price elasticity, promotional impact, and markdown effectiveness, to identify opportunities to optimize revenue and margin across product categories.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on retail performance, including pricing, promotions, customer behavior, and product lifecycle, to inform merchandising and planning decisions.
  • Partner with Planning and Finance teams to evaluate price recommendations, monitor execution, and assess business impact through structured performance measurement.
  • Develop intuitive, automated Tableau dashboards and self-service reporting tools to track pricing KPIs (e.g., AUR, margin, sell-through, lift) and broader retail performance metrics.
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Planning, Finance, and technology partners to translate business needs into analytical solutions and clearly communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Write SQL code to extract, clean, and transform large datasets from cloud-based sources (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) to support repeatable pricing and retail analytics workflows.
  • Collaborate with data scientists on advanced pricing and demand modeling by preparing datasets, conducting exploratory analysis, and validating outputs to ensure business applicability.
