About The Position

The Senior Retail Pharmacist (VSP/PT) compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals. The Senior Retail Pharmacist (VSP/PT) work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Senior Retail Pharmacist (VSP/PT) prepares and maintains all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory. Provide information to the Senior members on drugs and pharmaceuticals. Directly work with the patients. Begin to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of technical experience
Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
Must be screened for TB as part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
