About The Position

The Senior Restoration Crew Chief (Field Project Manager Track) at Voda Cleaning & Restoration is responsible for owning projects from initial inspection through completion. This role involves inspecting losses, determining remediation protocols, developing field scopes for the estimating team, leading technicians, working alongside the crew, communicating with homeowners and insurance professionals, and ensuring project completion. The company is seeking individuals who take ownership, enjoy problem-solving, leading people, and helping customers during difficult times.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional restoration experience.
  • Must have own vehicle to drive to shop in the AM.
  • Previous experience as a Crew Chief, Senior Technician, Field Supervisor, or Restoration Project Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of water mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, selective demolition, and emergency restoration.
  • Working knowledge of IICRC S500 and S520 Standards.
  • Ability to independently inspect losses and develop detailed field scopes.
  • Strong leadership and customer communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, roofs, and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect residential and commercial water, mold, fire, smoke, and emergency restoration losses.
  • Determine the proper remediation protocol using IICRC S500 and S520 Standards.
  • Develop detailed field scopes including measurements, photos, demolition plans, drying plans, and remediation procedures.
  • Document moisture readings, affected materials, equipment needs, and restoration procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Xactimate estimator to ensure every job is properly scoped.
  • Lead and mentor restoration technicians while working alongside them.
  • Perform all aspects of water mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, selective demolition, smoke and odor restoration, and emergency services.
  • Build containments, establish negative air, perform HEPA vacuuming, antimicrobial treatments, flood cuts, demolition, and encapsulation.
  • Install, monitor, and adjust drying equipment using moisture mapping and daily psychrometric readings.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters, property managers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain complete job documentation, moisture logs, daily notes, and photographs.
  • Perform final walkthroughs to ensure every customer receives exceptional service.
