About The Position

This position is responsible for keeping standards and procedures current, reviewing new equipment and supplies, maintaining and advancing the education of respiratory therapists, and assisting the Manager with annual evaluations of current employees and evaluations of new employees. The role is with Swedish Issaquah, where Providence Swedish describes its approach as patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider PALS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Three years of clinical experience appropriate to the area coordinated.
• Lead therapist experience or supervisory experience.
