About The Position

You are an experienced Senior Resource Manager—detail-oriented, highly organized, collaborative, and decisive. You bring clarity to complexity and thrive in fast-moving, creative environments. As the all-seeing eye for resourcing in our LA studio, you play a critical role within the Client Services team, partnering closely with Client Directors and department leads to ensure our work is staffed thoughtfully, sustainably, and strategically. You balance creative ambition with commercial reality, bringing structure, foresight, and empathy to how work gets done. This role is ideal for someone with 6–8 years of experience in creative operations, resourcing, or talent management within a branding or creative agency environment. You have a deep understanding of the creative process and the pressures that come with it—and you know how to plan proactively while remaining adaptable as priorities shift. You’ll be responsible for scheduling and staffing projects, monitoring progress, and identifying when and how to bring in additional freelance support and recruit for resources. You’re comfortable working with tools like Streamtime (or similar time-tracking and project-planning platforms), and you actively look for ways to evolve systems and processes to make the studio run more efficiently.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in creative operations, resourcing, or talent management within a branding or creative agency environment.
  • Deep understanding of the creative process
  • Comfortable working with tools like Streamtime (or similar time-tracking and project-planning platforms)
  • Ability to proactively plan while remaining adaptable as priorities shift.

Responsibilities

  • You work one-on-one with the Client Services team to schedule new projects end-to-end, developing a clear understanding of project scope, timelines, team requirements, and individual capabilities.
  • You attend the daily Client Services standup, confidently helping navigate shifting priorities and re-plan resources as projects evolve.
  • You proactively identify potential resourcing issues and escalate risks to the Client Services Director early, offering clear, considered recommendations.
  • You facilitate and lead the weekly resourcing meeting with Client Services, Design, and Strategy leadership—surfacing potential risks, capacity gaps, and upcoming freelance needs, and strategically guiding solutions.
  • You own and seamlessly manage the freelancer onboarding and offboarding process, including contracts, external recruiter communications, and maintaining a robust freelancer database. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to coordinate seating, tech, and day-one readiness.
  • You maintain a close view of the New Business pipeline and confidently advise on feasibility, resourcing implications, and recommended start dates for new work.
  • You actively identify opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and workflows—helping the studio operate more clearly, efficiently, and sustainably.
  • You’re a great listener and thoughtful partner, taking into account individual skill sets, team dynamics, and the human side of resourcing– balancing practical planning with emotional intelligence.
  • You’re excited to work in person from our New York studio, contributing to our culture and being a visible, engaged presence in the day-to-day life of the studio.
