It also requires explaining policies, accommodating special requests, answering guest questions, and utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue. The Senior Reservations Clerk will communicate information regarding designated VIP reservations, input and access data in the reservation system, and resolve challenges with rooming requests by collaborating with appropriate departments. Additionally, this role oversees the accuracy of room blocks and reservations, inputs group rooming lists, revises room blocks, maintains organized files, and sets up billing accounts according to accounting policies. The position also requires adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality, protecting company assets, and providing excellent guest service, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals. The role also involves complying with quality assurance standards and performing other reasonable job duties as requested.
