About The Position

The Senior Researcher, Molecular Biology will join Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s RNA Therapeutics Lab within the Olayan Center for Cancer Vaccines. The role supports the manufacture, characterization, and innovation of mRNA-based personalized cancer vaccines, with a focus on improving conventional DNA and RNA production and advancing platform design and process development. The researcher will help establish the lab, shape workflows, and develop new approaches. The position involves producing mRNA vaccines using in vitro transcription, developing in-house DNA assembly platforms for rapid DNA template production and analytical release, and investigating novel mRNA-based and DNA technologies for clinical and research applications. The researcher will collaborate with formulation, analytical, research, and GMP teams; analyze and present data; maintain laboratory instruments and reagents; follow and promote laboratory safety procedures; and train other personnel as needed. The role is onsite in New York City and reports to the Associate Director.
