About The Position
Senior Research Scientist Indiana University Bloomington Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences Position Overview Design and lead the training of researchers of PBS , IU, and P30 consortium members.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biomedical Science, or closely related field
- 10 years’ experience as a research scientist
- Experience working with N- STORM super-resolution imaging
Responsibilities
- Organize and run the N- STORM super-resolution system and the A1 confocal system
- Teach the PBS neuroscience community for super-resolution and confocal microscopy use
- Optimize the experiments, data acquisition and data analysis of the PBS community regarding the microscopes located in MSB -II
- Write software packages for data analysis
- Prepare the illustrations for grants and publications
- Contribute to grant writing
