About The Position

Coordinate and oversee execution of research projects. Manage the day-to-day activities and the overall workflow of projects, including research on opioid use and opioid use disorder, chronic pain management, minoritized populations. Perform literature searches and contribute to writing manuscripts. Manage Institutional Review Board processes, documents and protocols. Provide training and oversight to research support personnel, medical students, undergraduate research assistants and volunteers. Manage project equipment and supplies. Oversee budget and purchase of study related materials. Assist with the preparation of grant proposals and grant reports. Helps develop, design and conduct research projects according to plan, including electronic health record-based health interventions, health systems-based interventions, and pragmatic trials. Ensures project compliance with different policies, procedures, directives, and mandates. Engage with and serve as the main project contact for stakeholders, partner organizations and clinical sites. Perform qualitative interviews with patients and clinicians. Develop and analysis of user-centered designed interview. Assist with intervention development, evaluation planning, and instrument design and implementation science. Oversee development of provider tools and patient education materials. Oversee data collection, management and analysis. Contribute to strategic planning and new research development. Contribute to abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts. Ensure fidelity to study timeline and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration or other Health related field plus 2 years of experience in clinical research studies required.
  • 2 years with: electronic health record-based health interventions; health systems-based interventions, pragmatic trials; development of provider tools and patient education materials; qualitative interviews with patients and clinicians; develop and analysis of user-centered designed interview.
