About The Position

Vividion is a biotechnology company focused on leveraging its proprietary chemical proteomics platform to identify and optimize novel drugs for oncology and immunology. The company is seeking a Senior Research Associate, Automation for a temporary position through the end of 2026, with potential for extension. This role involves hands-on experience with high throughput screening campaigns on integrated automation platforms in both cellular and biochemical formats. The successful candidate will also contribute to cellular and biochemical assay development, optimization, and miniaturization. Requirements

  • BS degree with 5+ years of experience in cell biology or biochemistry.
  • Experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Experience with integrated platforms and automated liquid handling.
  • Experience with large scale data analysis for HTS, including single point and dose response data.
  • Experience with QC of curve fitting for dose response data.
  • Strong biochemistry skill set.
  • Experience in biochemical assay optimization.
  • Experience with HTRF, FI, and NanoBit assays.
  • Experience with assay miniaturization to 1536 format.
  • Experience with Echo acoustic liquid handling.
  • Experience with small molecule library management.
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be an effective team player and strong individual contributor.
  • Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high throughput screening campaigns on integrated automation platforms in cellular and biochemical formats.
  • Develop, optimize, and miniaturize cellular and biochemical assays.
  • Analyze large scale data for High Throughput Screening (HTS), including single point and dose response data.
  • Perform Quality Control (QC) of curve fitting for dose response data.
  • Optimize biochemical assays, including experience with HTRF, FI, and NanoBit assays.
  • Miniaturize assays to 1536 format.
  • Utilize Echo acoustic liquid handling.
  • Manage small molecule libraries.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
  • Contribute to established programs as well as ongoing early target selection, screens, and validation.
  • Deliver high quality results under tight timelines.
