About The Position

This position has an initial appointment of three years. The University of Alberta's Institutional Data and Analytics (IDA) office is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Research Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Director, Institutional Research, this role will play a pivotal part in supporting executive decision-making. The IDA unit operates in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment where responding quickly, clearly, and accurately is paramount. Their work focuses on building and maintaining the U of A’s reporting and analytics environment, including their data warehouse, which is transitioning to the cloud. They deliver analytical products to support key missions of teaching and research.

Requirements

• Passionate about data-driven decision making.
• Experienced in supporting executive decision-making.
• Experience in building and maintaining reporting and analytics environments.
• Experience with data warehouses.
• Experience delivering analytical products to support teaching and research.

Responsibilities
