About The Position

The Cost Basis Senior Representative supports client inquiries and maintains client cost information for purposes of providing accurate cost basis and gain/loss information on our tax statements and client channels. The Senior Representative provides cost basis research, lot cost updates, and explanation of cost basis calculations to institutional and retail clients by processing service requests and providing subject matter expertise over the telephone. We also look for ways to improve the client experience, reduce client effort, and drive efficiency.

Requirements

Working knowledge IRS cost basis/regulations and the ability to communicate them to clients.
1-3 years of proven experience working in financial services industry preferred.
1 year of inbound call center experience.
Prior cost basis reporting experience and processing in a high-volume seasonal tax environment preferred.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong customer service skills.
An understanding of the unique needs of each business group supported by the organization.

Responsibilities
