About The Position

The Senior Release Coordinator leads the planning, coordination, and execution of complex application releases at HealthEdge. Operating with a high degree of independence, this role serves as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams – guiding release strategy, driving process maturity, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery outcomes. The Senior Release Coordinator takes ownership of multi-stream release cycles, mentors junior team members, influences the continuous improvement of release management frameworks, and communicates release posture and risk to senior leadership and key stakeholders. This role is expected to identify systemic issues, recommend solutions, and lead the resolution of escalated release blockers with minimal direction.

  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-product or multi-team release cycles with a high degree of independence.
  • Prior experience in a senior individual contributor or informal leadership capacity, including mentoring peers or leading process improvement efforts.
  • Advanced proficiency in release management and project tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience with release automation frameworks, CI/CD pipeline concepts, and integration tooling in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and release branching strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze release metrics, identify trends, and leverage data to drive process improvements and stakeholder reporting.
  • Deep working knowledge of SDLC methodologies, Agile and SAFe principles, and release management best practices.
  • Strong understanding of change control frameworks, risk management concepts, and operational readiness criteria.
  • Familiarity with ITSM concepts (e.g., ITIL) and their application to release and change management processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across simultaneous high-complexity release cycles.
  • Executive-level communication and influencing skills; able to navigate stakeholder dynamics and build alignment without formal authority.
  • Proven ability to operate with minimal direction, exercise sound judgment, and make confident decisions under pressure.
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading structured meetings, risk reviews, and retrospectives with diverse, cross-functional groups.
  • Proactive, continuous improvement mindset with a commitment to raising standards and investing in team capability.
  • Resilient and composed in fast-paced, high-stakes release environments; models calm and clarity for the broader team.
