The Senior Regional Admissions Counselor is a remote member of the Undergraduate Admissions team, responsible for developing and executing a strategic recruitment plan within an assigned Southern California territory. The role focuses on identifying, engaging, and enrolling academically qualified students while representing the university’s mission and value. The counselor works autonomously, uses data to guide decisions, and serves as the university’s primary ambassador in the region, building relationships with students, families, and school counselors. Candidates must reside in Los Angeles or Orange County, California. The position directly contributes to university enrollment goals through regional recruitment, strengthening the university’s presence, and providing a high-quality prospective student experience. It requires extensive travel, including approximately 6–10 weeks in the fall and 3–4 weeks in the spring, as well as summer travel as needed. The counselor also travels to campus for training and collaboration approximately 5–7 times per year. Night and weekend work is required.
