About The Position

The core mission of the Recruiting Operations (RecOps) team at Roblox is to strategically optimize the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring its efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness. We build and maintain the crucial operational infrastructure—including process, technology, data governance, and compliance—which empowers Talent Acquisition (TA) to consistently find, interview, and achieve the best possible hiring outcomes for the organization. In this role, you will act as a bridge between strategy and execution. You will partner cross-functionally with Legal, HRIS, and People Analytics to drive operational rigor, optimize our technology stack, and ensure our processes are not only compliant but that our solutions are scalable and seamless user experience. This role calls for an autonomous, systemic thinker who can navigate ambiguity to drive complex, multi-quarter initiatives, designing sustainable solutions that anticipate our needs for current and future needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading and executing complex recruiting operations initiatives including defining project scope, managing conflicting priorities, and delivering results with minimal supervision.
  • Deep expertise with core recruiting or HRIS technologies (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, Gem, GoodTime) and the technical aptitude to understand system integrations, configurations, compatibility, and everyday use.
  • Proven operational rigor and strategic planning aptitude, capable of translating vision into action, managing ambiguity, and delivering complex programs with clear prioritization and resource planning.
  • Expertise in pulling, interpreting, and communicating data from recruiting tools to generate actionable insights and solve complex problems with minimal oversight.
  • Familiarity with TA Policy, Governance, and Compliance , with a focus on monitoring and addressing the evolving state of global laws and regulations.
  • A track record of successfully partnering and influencing cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and varying levels of leadership to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own High-Complexity Workflows & Systems: You will serve as the primary owner for critical tooling workflows and vendor relationships, partnering with HR Technology to drive configurations, integrations, and automations that remove manual bottlenecks.
  • Drive Process Innovation & Sustainability: You will design, map, and document end-to-end recruiting processes, building durable mechanisms that eliminate failure points and ensure rigorous adoption without constant manual intervention.
  • Lead with Data & Insights: You will oversee data integrity audits and quality control frameworks to ensure accuracy, moving beyond basic reporting to generate actionable insights that steer operational strategy.
  • Champion Compliance & Governance: You will treat compliance as a system design challenge by configuring field validations and approval hierarchies that ensure adherence to global policies.
  • Manage Cross-Functional Change: You will lead change management for new tool rollouts and process shifts by anticipating resistance, tailoring communications to diverse audiences, and utilizing feedback loops to iterate on solutions.
  • Evaluate & Implement Emerging Tech: You will partner with our People Science team to lead the assessment of TA tools, rigorously testing for risks like bias and security and ensuring ROI.
