About The Position

The person who takes this role will sit at the center of our recruiting effort, owning the coordination that keeps everything moving and caring deeply about doing it well. This is also a role with real room to grow, and a chance to build from a blank slate. Many of our recruiting processes are still being created from scratch, and the right person will help build the systems, workflows, reporting, and infrastructure that make recruiting faster, sharper, and more scalable as we grow.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruiting coordination; you've operated in fast-paced, high-bar environments and are motivated by achieving ambitious hiring goals
  • Genuine care for the candidate experience, not as a value on a slide, but as a standard you hold yourself to
  • Strong written communication; your emails are clear, warm, and get responses
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity; the playbook here is still being written, and you're energized, not unsettled, by that
  • The instinct to build relationships, not just manage transactions
  • A standard for your own work that is, frankly, a little unreasonable

Nice To Haves

  • Recruiting operations experience is a big plus, especially if you've helped improve systems, workflows, reporting, or process at a scaling company
  • Exceptional organizational instincts; you notice what others miss and fix it without being asked

Responsibilities

  • Own interview scheduling end-to-end across multiple roles and pipelines with precision, speed, and ensuring no candidates fall through the cracks
  • Be the first real impression many candidates have of David AI and make it a good one
  • Keep Ashby accurate and current at all times, including stage updates, candidate notes, and pipeline hygiene
  • Draft candidate-facing communications that are warm, clear, and human
  • Anticipate problems before they happen and surface them before they become someone else's emergency
  • Support offer logistics, background checks, and the handoff to onboarding
  • Build the systems and templates that make this function faster and more consistent over time
  • Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep every search on track
  • Support recruiting operations projects as we scale, from process improvements and reporting to systems hygiene and candidate experience infrastructure
