We are currently seeking a Senior Recruiter in our Career Development Department. This position can sit in our Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA Office. This position is 100% in the office. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or other related business discipline is required or equivalent experience in an HR role, specifically Recruitment; PHR / SPHR preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a sourcing or selection position for experienced hires
  • Strong computer skills required, including proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Working experience with Applicant Tracking systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong follow up skills with solid time management skills; work well with time constraints, multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and recommending candidates to fill experienced roles, and hard to fill roles within the business groups.
  • Partner with business groups to forecast hiring needs; Explore the best sourcing options to help the business groups meet their hiring needs.
  • Research and recommend new hiring solutions for experienced hiring and hard to fill positions.
  • Head the implementation teams to deliver new hiring / selection solutions.
  • Aid in hiring diverse candidates that match our diverse regions.
  • Create and supervise new strategies for Walsh to recruit and retain diverse talent.
  • Manage applicants in our ATS including applicant sources, applicant data, and selection status.
  • Follow up with hiring managers as necessary.
  • Manage the time to get through the selection process to ensure a great candidate experience has been met.
  • Review recruiting survey data for experienced hires, looking for opportunities to improve the candidate experience.
  • Assist divisions and/or corporate management with onboarding to allow a smooth transition between the recruitment team and the receiving business group.
  • Coach management on the complex onboarding process for experienced hires.
  • Review experienced hire onboarding survey data, and follow up to ensure new hires are receiving the training & resources they need for better effectiveness.
  • As necessary, develop communication materials in a variety of formats to meet recruiting needs.
  • Work with Marketing Department on social media campaigns, e-mail blasts, and company web page to ensure our employer brand remains strong among experienced candidates.
  • Partner with headhunting firms to aid in the delivery of qualified candidates for hard to fill positions.
  • Read headhunter contracts for compliance with company standards.
  • Once signed by the Director of Recruiting, store them in the departments database.
  • Maintain current knowledge in the field of Human Resources, Recruiting, Selection, and Retention through education, training, networking, professional organizations, etc.
