About The Position

This role leads full-cycle recruitment for Senior-level positions, with a strong focus on sourcing and hiring leadership roles within Workplace Health and Safety (WHS). The recruiter manages the entire hiring process, including sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, offer management, and onboarding, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to meet aggressive headcount goals. The position requires extensive experience in talent acquisition, strong judgment, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and creativity to achieve hiring targets for launch and priority sites.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in executive and leadership recruiting, including sourcing and hiring Senior-level talent.
  • Strong sourcing skills, including direct sourcing, executive leadership sourcing, and pipeline development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruitment, including interviews, reference checks, offers, and onboarding.
  • Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish hiring goals.
  • Familiarity with a variety of recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting deadlines and hiring targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with hiring leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, creativity, and latitude in decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree, typically required for this role, or equivalent experience in a related area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for Senior and leadership roles, particularly Level 7 positions within Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Proactively source high-caliber candidates through a variety of channels, including direct sourcing, networking, and executive search techniques.
  • Conduct structured interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and leadership capabilities.
  • Check professional references and verify candidate credentials to ensure quality of hire.
  • Develop and present competitive offer packages, and manage the offer process from negotiation through acceptance.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with internal processes.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders and HR partners to understand workforce plans, role requirements, and hiring priorities for launch and top priority sites.
  • Use extensive recruiting experience and judgment to create and execute sourcing strategies that meet aggressive hiring timelines.
  • Manage a high volume of requisitions and maintain clear visibility into hiring progress, particularly for WHS leadership roles.
  • Support the team’s goal of filling all assigned requisitions by year end, helping to close gaps in critical leadership roles.
  • Collaborate with other recruiters and team members, and when needed, lead or direct the work of others to achieve hiring objectives.
  • Apply a wide degree of creativity and latitude in solving recruitment challenges and refining processes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition data in recruitment systems and tools.
  • Typically report to a manager or department head, providing regular updates on hiring status, challenges, and achievements.
