About The Position

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for executing full-cycle recruitment focused on leadership roles for ORNL Federal Credit Union. The Senior Recruiter will develop recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to identify, attract, and secure top-tier talent aligned with the credit union's mission, culture, and long-term growth strategy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to respond effectively and confidentially to sensitive inquiries and information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and problem solving ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  • Self motivated, with the ability to think independently and make independent decisions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Follows Credit Union policies and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintains a record of attendance and timeliness in keeping with the Credit Union's attendance policy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for leadership roles. Partners with hiring managers to define hiring strategies, role requirements, and success profiles. Engages candidates through relationship driven and community networking outreach.
  • Screens and assesses candidates for skills, capability, and culture alignment. Manages candidate relationships through the entire hiring process. Coordinates and influences interview processes in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Delivers a high-touch, professional candidate experience reflective of ORNL Federal Credit Union values. Maintains resume and application database and communicates job status to applicants.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools, and workflows. Helps establish consistent standards and best practices across the recruiting team.
  • Prepares monthly metrics reports which reflect headcount, new hires, internal transfers, promotions, terminations, and disciplinary actions. Prepares annual reports required for affirmative action plan purposes.
  • Maintains current knowledge of recruitment practices. Maintains all records associated with recruiting, including applications, selection tests, interview notes and pre-employment screenings, to comply with EEO regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
