About The Position

The Sr. Recruiter will own and execute full cycle recruitment activities for various business lines within MAI Capital Management. Recruiting responsibilities include effectively sourcing and building talent pipelines, managing candidates through the recruitment and selection process, preparing competitive job offers, and strategically partnering with hiring managers to meet their staffing goals. The Sr. Recruiter will apply their business knowledge and recruiting expertise to develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies to fulfill the firm’s staffing needs and drive overall HR functional excellence and recruiting process improvement. In this role, the Sr. Recruiter handles reporting and HR data analysis to help make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and onboarding approaches. Support to broader initiatives will be required during acquisitions, MAI’s Summer Intern Program, and other HR projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-10 years of full cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience with an HRIS, ADP Workforce Now, and candidate engagement tools and approaches.
• Hands-on sourcing experience with sites such as Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic team-based, collaborative environment, and works well with a diverse number of people, such as executives, managers, candidates, employees, and vendors.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships; works effectively as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated proficiency in interviewing and questioning skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on analyzing and managing HR data and information and resolving complex problems.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Maintains flexibility to appropriately prioritize and execute to meet client and firm needs and support peak volumes and aggressive deadlines.
• Maintains absolute confidentiality of all employee information and safeguards client and firm data; maintains high ethical standard in all practices.
• Professional and positive demeanor, superb work ethic, high level of personal ethics and integrity.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate in SHRM Talent Acquisition (SHRM-TA) is a plus.
• Experience in an RIA/Investment Management Firm or other Financial Services organization a plus

Responsibilities

• Partners with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand talent needs and develop strategies to achieve staffing goals.
• Manages full lifecycle recruiting process and hiring deliverables. This includes advertising job postings, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, screening candidates, and negotiating job offers.
• Leverages recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results to business leaders and HR partners.
• Uses best-in-class recruiting techniques to build and maintain a consistent pipeline of potential candidates for future job openings and to minimize third party recruiting costs.
• Promotes the firm’s culture through branded content to attract top talent.
• Actively participates in HR, projects, reporting/analytics, and championing HR initiatives.
• Creates and maintains an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage in support of the firm's diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
• Collects, tracks, analyzes, and reports on hiring metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, candidate experience, and onboarding experience.
• Trains and advises hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods.
