As we scale across digital transformation and innovation, we’re looking for a Senior Recruiter, Technology (contract), to help us attract and secure exceptional talent across both domains. You are a hands-on, high-performing full-cycle technical recruiter with deep experience hiring for technology professional services environments. You thrive in fast-paced, client-driven contexts and know how to find, engage, and close niche talent. You bring strong expertise in two key areas: Digital Transformation (Financial Services) – digital banking platforms, enterprise integrations Innovation (XR/AI) – VR, Unity, 3D, and immersive experience talent You are not just a recruiter—you are a talent partner who understands the business, builds pipelines proactively, and helps shape high-performing teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting within professional services or consulting environments
  • Proven success hiring for financial services technology and/or digital banking platforms
  • Experience recruiting for emerging tech roles (XR, VR, Unity, 3D, AI)
  • Strong track record in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, outreach, negotiation, and onboarding
  • Experience working with client stakeholders and multi-step interview processes
  • Comfortable operating in a remote, fast-paced, high-growth environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting across Canada and LATAM
  • Exposure to agency utilization models (contract vs full-time mix)
  • Familiarity with AI-driven recruiting tools and sourcing automation
  • Background supporting high-growth consulting or digital agencies

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment across contract and full-time roles
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies
  • Craft clear, compelling job descriptions aligned with market expectations
  • Manage structured interview processes, feedback loops, and candidate experience
  • Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, direct outreach, referrals, and targeted campaigns
  • Conduct direct outreach and cold calling to engage passive candidates
  • Build and maintain pipelines for hard-to-fill, niche technical roles
  • Position AEQ effectively to attract top-tier talent in competitive markets
  • Recruit for roles across: Digital Transformation (Financial Services): Backbase, VeriPark, Forge, Temenos, Intellect Design, Salesforce Roles: Solution Architects, Developers, Product Owners, BAs, QA, Tech Leads
  • Innovation (XR/AI): Unity Developers, VR/AR Engineers 3D Artists (environment, animation, avatars) Technical Artists, Experience Designers
  • Conduct screening interviews and assess both technical and cultural fit
  • Manage the offer process, including salary negotiation and closing
  • Ensure smooth onboarding handoff and candidate transition
  • Stay on top of compensation benchmarks and hiring trends
  • Advise leadership on talent availability and hiring strategy
  • Continuously improve time-to-fill and quality-of-hire
