About The Position

Carvana is revolutionizing the car buying experience and is looking for individuals excited to thrive in an environment of impactful change, fostering innovation through passion and creativity. The company, established in 2013, takes big swings, sets ambitious goals, and makes data- and process-driven decisions. This is a 100% on-site position, Monday through Friday. The Senior Recruiter, Talent Acquisition will build, develop, and execute full life-cycle talent acquisition for Carvana’s Operations teams. This role acts as a direct extension of hiring leaders, serving as the primary touchpoint for candidates from initial outreach through the offer stage, ensuring a stellar candidate experience. The recruiter's insights will have an immediate, tangible impact daily within this unique and exciting, talent-driven company.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of talent acquisition experience (full-cycle recruiting), preferably a mix of agency and in-house.
  • Experience with virtual recruitment (social media, LinkedIn, resume sourcing).
  • Experience working with an ATS, preferably Greenhouse.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Experience supporting leadership roles
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing deep market intelligence to inform your negotiation strategies.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable with change and can easily adapt.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full-cycle recruiting for a variety of leadership roles across our operations teams.
  • Think outside the box and leverage your experience to find and attract top-tier leadership talent.
  • Develop effective and proactive candidate pipelines for leadership positions using a variety of sourcing strategies, social networking, and relationship building.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the skills, experience, and competencies required for each leadership role and effectively assess candidate qualifications to influence hiring decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with hiring teams and leaders at various levels, keeping them engaged from in-take conversation to new hire start date.
  • Constantly identify new ways to improve all aspects of leadership recruiting, including the candidate experience, interview practices, funnel-building, reporting, and quality of hire.
  • Represent Carvana and applicable hiring teams at hiring events as needed.
  • Effectively manage priorities and deadlines to meet the hiring needs of our leadership teams.
