About The Position

Ardmac is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and surveying aspects of a major high-value industrial project in Somerset. Requirements

BSc in Quantity Surveying
Knowledge of construction methods and technology
Knowledge & understanding of measurement, valuation, claims, loss & expense
Knowledge & understanding of Final Accounts
Knowledge & understanding of subcontract/materials orders & buying

Responsibilities

Overall financial, contractual, and legal contract management of the project.
Working based on strong knowledge and understanding of contractual obligations.
Preparation of contract budget.
Administration of Contract Records.
Attendance at meetings such as contract handover meetings.
Produce regular cost reports.
Measurement and valuation.
Production of Loss and Expense claims with Surveying Manager / Commercial Director.
Production and agreement of Final Accounts.
Form relationships with PQS/Client/consultants/Supply Chain.
Development and mentoring of commercial staff within the project team.
