This role involves functioning independently as a project assistant and working with Directors, Associate Directors, and Senior Team Leaders in delivering professional pre and post QS services with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or Engineering related disciplines.
  • 5-8+ years relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, with proven exposure to E&M / MEP cost management.
  • Demonstrated experience working with corporate clients in a consultancy environment, with a strong track record of delivering quality outcomes.
  • Experienced in serving clients in private and public sector clients.
  • Proven experience supporting and/or managing major projects, with strong commercial awareness and delivery focus.
  • Strong technical knowledge in E&M / MEP Quantity Surveying, with the ability to interface effectively with design teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Good command of English and Cantonese.
  • Macau ID holder is strongly preferred, candidates from Mainland China or Hong Kong will also be considered, subject to eligibility for Macau work authorisation and willingness to relocate.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality sector is an advantage.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
  • Candidates with stronger experience and/or relevant professional qualifications may be considered for a more senior position, subject to internal assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of cost management services for small to medium commercial, retail and residential developments, or lead significant components of larger cost management assignments, to achieve positive outcomes for our clients.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth project delivery.
  • Deliver assigned scope of work in line with required governance, controls and quality standards, applying strong technical knowledge and practical experience in cost/commercial management, including: Preparation of pre-contract cost estimates and project cash-flow, Preparation of tender documentation, Tendering process and tender evaluation, Post-contract administration and management: contract documentation, valuation of progress payment, variation assessment, and cost control report, Finalization of project final accounts.
  • Lead and/or support the coaching and development of team members to share knowledge, strengthen capability and continuously improve service delivery standards.
  • Provide specialist technical advice to senior management on issues relating to cost/commercial management, providing solutions and actively sharing knowledge in order to support successful delivery.
