About The Position

WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to support major capital projects throughout the SPS region. This onsite position is based in Amarillo, Texas, and reports directly to the hiring manager overseeing major capital project quality projects within the SPS region. The role focuses on quality assurance and compliance for large-scale construction, renewable energy, and power generation projects, including projects valued at $100 million or more. The Senior Quality Manager serves as a project quality subject matter expert and champion, working with project teams, contractors, vendors, and other partners to ensure quality requirements are met.

Requirements

10 or more years of experience in project management, quality assurance, quality management, construction, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience supporting large capital projects valued at $100 million or more.
Experience with industrial construction, power generation, renewable energy, or utility projects.
Experience conducting or supporting vendor surveillance, vendor quality reviews, and shop audits.

Responsibilities

Manage quality assurance activities for major capital projects exceeding $100 million.
Monitor compliance with established project quality standards, specifications, and requirements.
Coordinate vendor surveillance, shop audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
Support quality oversight across renewable energy, power plant, and industrial construction projects.
Identify potential quality concerns and work with project teams, contractors, and vendors to guide resolution.
Provide project quality guidance and recommendations to project team members as the subject matter expert.
Use Microsoft Office and remote collaboration tools to manage project documentation and communication.
