About The Position

The Senior Quality Manager will lead a team of supervisors, engineers and technicians supporting manufacturing, new product development, post-market investigations and Quality Systems for pacemaker/defibrillator subassembly and other medical device electronic assemblies. This role is responsible for directing and prioritizing quality signals and improvement projects to ensure the manufacture and delivery of high-quality products while facilitating compliance with regulatory requirements through partnership with Production, Engineering, R&D and Process Development teams. The role will also ensure new products are implemented with key process controls, product checks and preventive activities in place.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 7-9 years' related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' people leadership experience.
  • Trained and experienced in the Boston Scientific Quality System or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a CRM Quality System.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Training and experience in Lean, DMAIC and Engineering Essentials methodologies.

  • Develop, monitor and appropriately adjust the annual departmental budget.
  • Provide cross-functional and customer-focused communication regarding department and Quality System operations, as well as product performance.
  • Lead quality projects of significant magnitude and scope, including determining project staffing assignments and scheduling work to meet deliverables and timelines.
  • Provide guidance and approval regarding technical strategies and approaches.
