Requirements

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course Certificate required
• Minimum of 7 years of experience conducting quality audits and working within a Quality Management System
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 principles, requirements, and auditing methodologies
• Experience within engineering, consulting, environmental, or professional services organizations preferred
• Experience performing root cause analysis and managing corrective and preventative actions
• Strong analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, taking ownership of delegated tasks
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Open to travel for remote projects
• Have a valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct internal quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and company procedures.
• Develop annual audit schedules and audit plans.
• Develop project specific monthly audit plan summaries.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of processes, controls, and quality management practices.
• Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports for management and Clients.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
• Support external certification and surveillance audits.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continual improvement within a quality management system.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on quality requirements and audit readiness.
• Maintain audit records and quality documentation.
• Attending site meetings and conducting site visits to review inspection test plans and conducting quality checks.
• Review of project drawings and specifications, as well as applicable external specifications and standards, to ensure quality control and compliance.
