About The Position

Join the team reimagining how people interact with Hinge Health’s computer vision–powered experiences. As a Senior Quality Engineer on the Computer Vision User Experience team, you’ll drive the testing strategy and quality standards that ensure our members experience accurate, reliable, and engaging guided movement sessions. By partnering closely with CV researchers, software engineers, and product designers, you’ll expand our test surfaces, reduce manual effort through automation, and raise the bar for release readiness across the lifecycle of new capabilities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience testing end-user applications, with hands-on experience across both manual and automated testing.
  • 2+ years of experience testing mobile applications (e.g., React Native, native iOS, or native Android).
  • Experience creating test plans and driving coverage across unit, integration, end-to-end, automation, and manual testing for new product capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building, improving, or maintaining test automation frameworks to catch regressions earlier and reduce manual effort.
  • 2+ years of experience creating and executing comprehensive test plans for new product capabilities, including complex feature sets.
  • 3+ years operating as a senior or lead QA partner, driving testing strategy or evolving quality practices for a team.
  • Experience using Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript for test automation, tooling, or debugging workflows.
  • Experience testing interactive mobile experiences such as video games, AR/VR applications, or other real-time, motion-sensitive products.
  • Experience testing computer-vision–based applications or features.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of our computer vision pipelines, mobile app surfaces, and member journeys.
  • Partner daily with engineers to define and execute testing for new features and improvements, with clear acceptance criteria and test cases.
  • Create and execute test plans that cover unit, integration, end-to-end, automation, and manual testing for new product capabilities.
  • Expand automated test coverage across critical member flows, catching regressions earlier and significantly reducing manual effort.
  • Improve and maintain test automation frameworks to increase reliability, speed up validation, and streamline release readiness.
  • Deepen collaboration with CV researchers, product, and design to ensure quality is built into the design and implementation of new motion-sensitive, interactive experiences.
  • Serve as a quality leader for the Computer Vision User Experience domain, evolving testing practices, tooling, and standards across the team.
  • Architect validation plans for novel computer-vision capabilities and complex, real-time user interactions.
  • Share best practices and mentor teammates to level up quality across the broader organization.
