About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure high quality of software solutions in collaboration with the whole development team. Your focus lies on effective testing, quality in automation, programming and deploying software. Automation of test activities plays an important part in your role. You understand and use the required tooling to support this. Capable of providing cloud and on-prem QA functions including Test planning, execution, risk identification, and statusing.

Requirements

  • 8 years of hands-on experience in functional, integration, regression, and usability testing across web and/or enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
  • Solid experience in identifying, documenting, tracking, and resolving defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar defect tracking systems
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, QA teams, and product managers to align on testing strategies and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of business requirements and ability to translate them into test scenarios and validation strategies.
  • End-to-end involvement in software development lifecycle (SDLC), including test planning, execution, and post-release validation.
  • Experience in tracking progress, analyzing test results, and providing clear status updates and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and advise cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance (QA) analysts, and product managers, to execute the testing strategy.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test cases, tools, and scripts to validate business rules and business functionality.
  • Execute manual test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, and usability testing.
  • Identify and create reusable test data required for ongoing testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and improve software quality.
  • Monitor and report test metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Participate in software release activities, including test planning, execution, and post-release validation.
