About The Position

The Senior Quality Engineer will support the various projects located in King of Prussia, PA. This position is focused primarily on supply chain quality engineering.

Requirements

  • This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and requires an Interim Secret prior to start.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree.
  • Must have 3+ years of recent and related work experience.
  • Familiar with Procure-to-Pay or SAP.
  • Experience in one of the following disciplines: quality engineering, systems engineering, materials process engineering, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS.

  • Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, with internal and external customers.
  • Able to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives.
  • Must be organized with good time management skills and must be able to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
  • Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Supply Chain Quality Engineering.
  • Proficient in defect resolution through implementation of effective root cause corrective action.
  • Quality MRB certification.
  • Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Apply quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products.
  • Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.
  • Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action.
  • Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements.
  • Develop strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.
  • Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
  • Design and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
