About The Position

The Senior Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring finished instruments and accessories conform to specified requirements using established engineering/quality procedures and quality control principles. This position reports to the Senior Manager - Manufacturing Quality and is part of the Quality & Regulatory Affairs organization located in Indianapolis, IN. This will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Ensure finished products and records (Device History Records) meet all requirements prior to release. Record quality data, including summarization of records of conformance and/or non-conformance, into the applicable database. Clearly communicate and/or escalate identified concerns or opportunities for improvement to cross-functional team members and management.

Requirements

High School Diploma / Equivalent with 5+ years of quality control/inspection or testing experience in a manufacturing environment inclusive of creating records in compliance with good documentation practices.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints or other specification documents (such as control plans, work instructions, and/or procedures)
Experience using calipers, micrometers, pin gages, surface plate and height stand, and other traditional inspection tools

Nice To Haves

Experience in biomedical research instrument or medical device manufacturing (ISO 13485)
Oracle as an ERP and IQVIA as an eQMS
