About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager (Level L) to join the Quality Team in Wichita, Kansas. This role leads and directs quality organizations and provides cross-functional quality integration leadership. It establishes, oversees, and administers processes, policies, and best practices, and determines resource requirements, acquisition, improvement plans, and quality measures. The position interfaces with other organizations, external suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to define, evaluate, and communicate the accomplishment of project and program priorities through all phases in the product or service lifecycle. It provides organizational vision and strategic plan, quality policies, processes, and procedures, as well as process improvements and prevention measures. The role also communicates, educates, trains, and coaches customers, suppliers, and internal personnel regarding Quality policies, processes, and procedures, and provides cross-functional leadership and Quality technical expertise.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Quality or Leadership role in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years’ customer relationship management experience
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Experience managing a budget
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Experience using SAP/MES
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • Experience establishing Quality Management Systems and/or AS9100 auditing
  • Six Sigma Green Belt and ASQ Certification
