Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Alberta Pensions Services CorporationEdmonton, AB

About The Position

Quality assurance at APS means quality people enabling quality decisions. You care about quality before it becomes a problem. You enjoy complex systems where every change matters - configuration updates, vendor fixes, enhancements, legislation, data impacts, and the occasional delightful pension-system surprise. You ask smart questions, do purposeful testing, and give clear recommendations. QA, to you, is more than “did the test pass?” - it is evidence, risk insights, and confidence in the systems people rely on. You bring calm leadership to a busy world. You mentor others, improve how work gets done, and build reusable QA assets so quality does not depend on someone remembering what happened three years ago. You see automation and AI-enabled tools as practical ways to reduce repetitive work, improve consistency, and catch risks earlier - with governance, human validation, and no uncontrolled robot joyrides.
