The part-time Senior QA/QC Technical Advisor serves as a subject matter expert supporting quality assurance and quality control processes for a critical facility environment. This role provides technical guidance, ensures adherence to quality standards, and supports planning and execution activities to maintain uninterrupted operations.

Requirements

  • Strong background in QA/QC processes within critical facilities (e.g., data centers, healthcare, or similar environments).
  • Experience developing detailed MOPs and working in environments where uptime is essential.
  • Extensive experience as an industrial electrician.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise stakeholders and leadership.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to quality management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary QA/QC advisor during ownership and stakeholder meetings, providing expert recommendations and technical insight.
  • Review, develop, and implement QA/QC procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
  • Lead the development and authoring of Methods of Procedure (MOPs) to support maintenance, upgrades, and operational activities in a no-outage environment.
  • Ensure all work is planned and executed in alignment with critical facility requirements, minimizing risk to ongoing operations.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and facility stakeholders to verify quality standards are met throughout all phases of work.
  • Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain system integrity and uptime.
  • Support audits, inspections, and quality reviews as needed.
