Senior QA Engineer, Operations (Manual)

As a Senior Operations QA Engineer at Jackpocket, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of Jackpocket's operations systems through testing and data validation. You will collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop and execute testing plans, write documentation on testing requirements, and manage the release process for operations technology. This role also involves hands-on testing of hardware and software components at the Austin based facility. With 5+ years of QA testing experience in a fast-paced agile environment, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of Jackpocket's QA function.

• Formulate and perform quality assurance testing for Jackpocket applications and APIs in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams
• Perform hands-on testing of operations software features as well as hardware components including printers and scanners at our Austin based facility
• Write and maintain documentation on testing requirements and standard procedures with the goal of continuous improvement / optimization
• Manage the release process for operations technology, ensuring that new features and updates are tested and deployed within time constraints
• Proactively research and keep up to date with industry standards and best practices to continually improve Jackpocket’s QA function

• 5+ years of hands on QA testing experience in a fast paced agile environment
• Experience with quality assurance testing of hardware and networking technology
• Good familiarity with Windows operating system
• Experience executing and debugging scripts using command line
• Experience with integration testing
• Experience with API testing using Postman
• Complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
• Demonstrated history of identifying defects
