Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in API and backend testing.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar solutions.
• Strong understanding of test case design for data-driven systems.
• Experience validating complex business logic, including calculations and rules.
• Ability to perform end-to-end testing across multiple integrated systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience testing financial systems or pricing calculations is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools is considered an asset.
• Strong SQL and data validation skills are considered an asset.
• Experience with batch testing and file-based validation, including CSV files and exports, is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with performance or load testing tools is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Execute API and backend test cases using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Validate pricing calculations and business rule execution.
• Develop test scenarios for data-driven and rule-based systems.
• Perform end-to-end testing across integrated systems.
• Validate batch outputs, including CSV files, and API responses.
• Contribute to test automation and regression testing.

Benefits

• Salaried: $52-62 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $62-72 per hour.
• 6-month contract.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
• Hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office.
